Torbreck

TORBRECK VINTNERS WAS CREATED WITH THE AIM OF BUILDING ONE OF THE FINEST WINE ESTATES IN THE WORLD. THE VISION IS TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE VINEYARDS OF THE BAROSSA VALLEY, HOME TO SOME OF THE OLDEST VINES ON THE PLANET.

Founded in 1994, Torbreck Vintners was created around a philosophy of gaining access to the most precious dry grown, old vine shiraz, grenache and mataro vineyards that surround the Barossa Valley. Securing these vineyards initially involved share farming a growers property, a practice which involves paying the owner a percentage of the market rate for their grapes in return for managing their vineyard. This share-farming principle along with estate ownership of some of the oldest and most highly prized vineyards in the world, is the reason why Torbreck Vintners are able to produce some of the finest wines from the Barossa Valley, and is key to both their international success and global recognition in such a short period of time.
